Rs 6 lakh snatched in Gurgaon

Three masked men on Monday snatched Rs 6.10 lakh at gunpoint from a money transfer company's executive here, police said.

Vinish Gupta was robbed while returning to his office in the Civil Lines area after collecting money from various clients.

Gupta was riding a two-wheeler with a friend, Brijesh Sharma, when they were waylaid by three armed masked men at Sector 37, a police officer said.

"They thrashed Gupta and Sharma before fleeing with their two-wheeler and cash," the officer said.
