A three-day high-level meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsewak Sangh (RSS) opened here on Monday, and informed sources said a key topic of discussion will be the Uttar Pradesh assembly polls.

A RSS leader said that while the meeting would deliberate on various issues and challenges facing the country, a training programme had been scheduled for volunteers of various frontal organisations.

The sources said there would be focussed discussions on the Uttar Pradesh election due early next year.

The eight-point agenda includes topics such as growing terror threats globally, the return of Kashmiri Pandits to Jammu and Kashmir as well as social harmony.
