There was a ruckus again at the juvenile home in Kingsway Camp here Wednesday morning, the second consecutive day, but it was controlled in an hour, said a police officer.
The officer denied the registration of any case after the melee between two groups of boys in the home situated in North Delhi.
Around 80 boys created a ruckus and rioted inside the observation home Tuesday afternoon which continued till late in the night.
Two welfare officers and some juveniles suffered injuries while 15 boys managed to escape after scaling the boundary wall of the home.
The boys also attempted to explode a cooking gas cylinder in the kitchen.
"The clash started between two groups of boys. When the security guards and staff were busy in cooling tempers, the boys started pelting stones, causing injury to some other boys and staff members," said the officer.
A similar incident occurred in this observation home two months ago when around 22 boys escaped after rioting and torching the superintendent's office. Some of them were later apprehended in a case of dacoity and murder.
