Anchor-producer Ryan Seacrest has been sued by Jose Moreno for using his music in the background of Kardashian family reality TV show "Khloe & Lamar" without taking license from him.
Moreno is seeking at least $75,000 in damages for using his music on the reality show that airs on E! And Oxygen's Bad Girls Club. Both are owned by NBC Universal, reports radaronline.com.
According to court documents, "Ryan Seacrest Productions, NBC Universal intentionally edited substantial portions of Jose Moreno's copyrighted musical works into television programs, which were publicly performed on prominent cable channels and viewed by millions of people.
"Defendants did so with no license from Jose Moreno, the sole copyright owner."
The case will to go to trial Dec 2 this year.
