Filmmaker Sampath Nandi, who will be working with actor Ravi Teja in his next film, says he's happy to have finally got an opportunity to direct his favourite star.
Ravi Teja is currently shooting for the second part of the "Kick" franchise. Therefore, Nandi's yet untitled film is expected to go on floors after "Kick 2" is wrapped up.
Nandi said he is "extremely happy" that he will get to direct Ravi Teja.
"I've always wished to work with him and finally to have got the opportunity means a lot to me. I just hope I don't disappoint his fans. We start shooting after he completes shooting for 'Kick 2'," Nandi told IANS.
Nandi was all set to direct Pawan Kalyan in "Gabbar Singh 2", but following alleged fallout between the two, he has moved on to another film.
When asked about "Gabbar Singh 2", Nandi said: "I'm not the authorised person to talk about it".
