Samridh Bawa joins 'Agnifera' (TV Snippets)

Actor Samridh Bawa has joined the ensemble cast of television show "Agnifera". He will be seen playing the role of a lawyer named Sameer in the show.

Sharing details about the character, Samridh said in a statement: "He (Sameer) is a smart guy and knows what he wants. He is Best at his work. Samridh and Sameer both have a similarity -- they have a common nickname Sam. My friend in real life calls me Sam and here in the show Sameer is also called as Sam by his friends."

People call me desi girl of TV: Shubhangi

"Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain!" fame actress Shubhangi Atre says she is fondly called the 'desi girl' of television by her fans as she has mostly played "sanskari" characters on screen.

"I have always played the lead characters in my shows. And mostly every protagonist character on television is about a good and disciplined girl, who is always seen in Indian attire. So people always call me 'desi girl' of TV, but it is high time to introduce my other side too," Shubhangi said in a statement.

In the past, the actress has been seen in shows like "Kasturi" and "Adhuri Kahaani Hamari".

I'm similar to my reel character in real life: Ahwaan

Actor Ahwaan Kumar, currently playing the role of Akshay in "Kaal Bhairav Rahasya 2", says he is positive, simple and obedient like his character in real life.

"I enjoy staying positive every now and then in my real life too like my reel character. I'm a simple and obedient person. It allows me to enjoy every second of my life. I personally feel positive people are able to maintain a broader perspective and see the big picture which helps them to identify solutions whereas negative people maintain a narrower perspective and tend to focus on problems," Ahwaan said in a statement.

He has earlier appeared in shows like "Geet Hui Sabse Parayi", "Sapne Suhane Ladakpan Ke" and "Behenein".

Vinit Kakar wants to romance on-screen

Known for playing negative roles in television shows like "Sankatmochan Mahabali Hanuman" and "Mahakali - Anth Hi Aarambh Hai", actor Vinit Kakar now wants to romance on-screen.

"I am playing a prince in 'Chandragupta Maurya'. It is again a negative role for me. As an actor I'm enjoying it, but now I'm waiting to explore other genres too. I want to do comedy but seriously waiting to romance on television screen," Vinit said in a statement.
