The manner in which AAPs' Delhi government tackled the case of its now former minister Sandeep Kumar, who has since been arrested for rape, only goes to show that the party cracks down promptly on any act of impropriety, Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia said on Tuesday.
"We are the only party in the country, which takes strict action and certainty of action is there," he said, when asked to comment on the episode.
Sisodia was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of his visit to Mapusa town, around 10 kms north of Panaji .
Kumar, the Women and Child Development minister in the Aam Aadmi Party government in Delhi was sacked after a CD showing him in a compromising position with a woman surfaced. Kumar has since been booked for rape and arrested.
