Indian origin cricketer Gurinder Sandhu has been included in the Australia A squad as a stand-by for injured pacer Josh Hazlewood.
Hazlewood suffered a side strain in Australia A's win over India A at Darwin Sunday and has been ruled out of the quadrangular series also involving South Africa A and Cricket Australia's (CA) National Performance Squad (NPS).
Part of the NPS squad, Sandhu is on stand-by for Australia A, said a CA statement.
Also, Tom Cooper replaced Phil Hughes in the Australia A squad as the latter returned home due to a death in his family. Hughes will re-join the squad in Darwin at a later date.
The next match of the series will be played between India A and South Africa A at the Gardens Oval in Darwin Tuesday.
