Seven paramilitary personnel killed in Iraq

At least seven paramilitary personnel were killed by gunmen in Iraq Sunday, an official said.

The incident took place when gunmen carried out an attack on a military outpost in a village near the city of Baquba in Diyala province at dawn, the official told Xinhua.

Gunmen also attacked another army checkpoint Sunday in the same province which left three soldiers injured.
