Croatian shooter Snjezana Pejcic broke the women's 50 metre rifle 3 positions world record en route to the gold medal at the Rio de Janeiro stage of the World Cup.
Pejcic set a new mark of 594 points in the qualifying round before posting 458.8 points in the medal match to beat Germany's Barbara Engleder by 3.2 points here on Friday, reports Xinhua.
Mongolia's Nandinzaya Gankhuyag finished third with 443.3 points.
The competition is also serving as a test event for the Rio 2016 Olympics, but Pejcic said she is not yet thinking about returning to Rio in August.
"The Olympics are still far away, I need to focus on the next two World Cup stages in Munich and Baku," she said.
"The Games are a completely different story."
