Shuttlers Ashish Sharma and Bhavya Rishi clinched the men's and women's singles titles, respectively, at the Senior Delhi State Championships here.
While Ashish beat Kaustab Rawat 21-11, 19-21, 21-17 in the men's final, Bhavya bested Mohita Sahdev 22-24, 21-15, 21-10 in the women's summit clash held at the Ludlow Castle School Sunday.
However, Mohita came back well to clinch the women's doubles title with Gouri Asijaa, drubbing top seeds Noor Chhatwal and Sanskriti Chhabra 17-21, 21-11, 21-19.
Gouri made it a double when she also took home the mixed doubles title with Bhaskar Chakarborty, defeating Akshit Patela and Noor Chhatwal 21-18, 21-14.
In the men's doubles final, Abhinav Praksah and Gaurav Deswal defeated Ankit Chikkara and Tanvir Gill 19-21, 21-13, 21-19.
The tournament was held under the aegis of Delhi Capital Badminton Association.
