Akshay Kumar's action comedy film "Singh is Bliing" has had a roaring start at the box office with a collection of Rs.20.67 crore on its opening day. The Prabhudheva directorial is also being tagged as the actor's biggest opener till now.
The film has received an overwhelming response at the box office. It is Akshay's biggest opening at the box office till now, read a statement.
"Singh is Bliing", which also stars Amy Jackson, Kay Kay Menon and Lara Dutta, stars Akshay as Raftaar Singh. With positive word of mouth publicity, the film is expected to double over the weekend as there is no big release alongside apart from Irrfan Khan and Konkana Sen Sharma starrer "Talvar", which only managed to collect Rs.3 crore on Friday.
"Singh is Bliing" is Akshay's second film with Prabhudheva after 2012 action masala film "Rowdy Rathore".
Akshay, who completed 10 million viewers on Twitter on Saturday, also held a chat session with his fans on the micro-blogging site to promote the film.
