TV broadcaster NBC is developing a reboot of the 1992 feature film "Single White Female" that starred Bridget Fonda and Jennifer Jason Leigh.
The drama, which has received a script commitment, is described as a "modern-day reboot" of the cult classic movie that was written by Don Roos and directed by Barbet Schroeder, reports hollywoodreporter.com.
The film was based on John Lutz's novel "SWF Seeks Same".
The show will be based in San Francisco and will be a soapy psychological thriller in which the lines between good and evil are constantly blurred.
The cast of the TV show is yet to be announced.
