South Korea win 1-0 against Kuwait in Asian Cup

South Korea defeated Kuwait 1-0 at the Asian Cup football tournament's group stage here Tuesday.

South Korea came close to scoring in the 30th minute when Lee Keun-Ho made into the penalty area, but his shot was denied by Kuwait's goalkeeper Hameed Youssef, reports Xinhua.

South Korea grabbed a scoring chance ten minutes before the half time when Cha Du-Ri passed the ball into the box and Nan Tae-Hee headed it into the net.

Nan also got a scoring chance after half-time, in the 59th minute, but his shot went wide.
