Spanish driver Carlos Sainz of team Toro Rosso, in his second season in the Formula One World Championship, said on Thursday that he believes 2016 will be a great year for him.
"Now that I have experience of 19 races, I know how the F1 works in sports and politically, so I'm eager to start another year in fulfilling my dream. That's what I'm doing, fulfilling a dream and enjoying it," the Spaniard said here on Thursday.
The F1 season is scheduled to start here on Sunday with the Australian Grand Prix.
"I have the pressure of the second year, but because I'm enjoying it, I'm living a dream and I'm a better driver than last year and I have a good car, there is no reason to think it will not be a great year."
"I feel more prepared. The pre-season has been much better, I feel physically better," he said, noting that he finished last season in the 15th place.
