Squash: Mangaonkar, Sandhu in title round

Asian Games gold medalist and top seed Mahesh Mangaonkar and Harinderpal Singh Sandhu expectedly reached the men's final in the first round of the JSW Squash Challenger Circuit here Saturday.

Mangaonkar beat English upcoming talent Angus Gillams 12-10, 11-3, 11-2 and Sandhu defeated sixth seeded Adam Murrills of England 11-5, 9-11, 11-6, 11-2.

In the first of the two women's semi-finals, Egypt's Nouran El Torky upset top seed Birgit Coufal 11-5,11-7, 12,10 to book a spot in the final where she awaits the winner of the match between third seeded French Chloe Mesic and No.2 Cheyna Tucker of South Africa.
