A 24-year-old undergraduate student was killed by three people on Holi here after they got into a heated argument over a money related issue, police said on Saturday.
Mohit, who was pursuing B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) from a private institute, was stabbed to death in west Delhi's Ranhaula on Friday afternoon when he went to celebrate Holi with his friends.
Mohit left home with Rahul and Shiv.
The accused trio -- identified as Rakesh, Vijay and Pawan -- met them on the way and demanded money from Mohit's friend Rahul.
Police said that a heated argument and scuffle ensued among them when Rahul refused to give money.
Meanwhile, Vijay slashed the victim's neck with a knife.
"All the culprits fled from the spot after the incident and they are still on the run," said a police official.
