It was a sultry morning here on Saturday. The weather office said many areas in the city may get rain in the day.
The minimum temperature was recorded at 27 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
"The sky will be cloudy with rain or thundershowers in many areas of the city. The maximum temperature is likely to hover around 34 degrees Celsius," an official of the India Meteorological Department said.
Friday's maximum temperature was 34.8 degrees Celsius, one notch above the season's average, while the minimum was 27 degrees Celsius, normal for this time of the season.
