The fourth day of the Lakme Fashion Week summer-resort 2015 was a day dedicated to Bollywood, with stars like Shahid Kapoor, Kalki Koechlin and Tamannahh Bhatia walking on the ramp. Ending the day was the beautiful Nargis Fakhri who looked no less than a bride when she flaunted one of the beautiful creations designed by ace designer Suneet Varma.

Nargis looked sensational in a crystal encrusted red lehenga choli and dupatta for the designer during the fashion gala that is taking place at the Hotel Palladium here.

"He is one of the best designers of Indian fashion industry and wearing his clothes has just made me feel like a queen," said the actress after the show.

Varma showcased a summer bridal collection called "Decorative Arts of India" that was presented by Reliance Jewels. The designer took inspiration from the traditional motifs and crafts of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and south India to make clothes that were not only romantic but also elegant.

The couturier is known for exhibiting his works through grand runway presentations and this edition wasn't any different. The main show area was lit with eight fabulous chandeliers and four imposing pillars on the stage adding more power to the whole theme of the line.

A master at creating fantastic embroidery designs and prints, his collection was a perfect amalgamation of the work of craftsmen and artisans. The colour story matched the theme as shades of red moved to vermillion, 'gulaal', fuchsia, pink rose and magenta, which were splashed with large mirror work borders in thread embroidery.

The fabrics revolved around chiffon, jacquard, tulle, rich velvet, silk, georgette and lush traditional textiles on silhouettes that varied from tunics in different lengths, capri trousers, tiny boleros, fitted pants, tiered full flared lehengas and patiala salwars.

There were also sheer net saris, kalidaar kurtas in black, teal, ivory, red, and two piece saris with ornate antique zardosi corset blouses. The Anarkali kurtas glittered with all-over jaal mirror and thread work while mini tunics with tonal embellishments looked stunning with draped dhoti salwars.

The Reliance Jewels added grace to the entire collection with precious gems to match the grandeur of the collection.
