Sunny day in Delhi, similar weather expected Friday

A nippy morning gave way to a clear sunny Thursday in Delhi with the maximum temperature recorded a notch above the season's average at 25.5 degrees Celsius. The met office has forecast a clear Friday.

"The skies will remain clear tomorrow (Friday) after mist and shallow fog in the morning," said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

The maximum and minimum temperatures are expected to hover around 25 and 9 degrees Celsius.

Thursday saw shallow fog early morning and the minimum temperature settled a notch above average at 10.1 degrees Celsius.

Wednesday's maximum temperature was a notch above season's average at 25.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum was 10 degrees Celsius.
