Automobile major Tata Motors Group on Wednesday reported a growth of 16 percent in its global sales for last month.
According to the company, its global wholesales during January 2016, including those of Jaguar Land Rover (JLR), stood at 93,355 units.
The company disclosed that its global wholesales of all passenger vehicles during the month under review was higher by 14 percent to 56,616 units.
"Global wholesales of all Tata Motors' commercial vehicles and Tata Daewoo range in January 2016 were 36,739 nos., higher by 20 percent," the company said in a statement.
"Global wholesales of Tata Motors' passenger vehicles in January 2016 were at 11,081 nos., lower by 17 percent, over January 2015."
The statement elaborated that global wholesales of JLR during last month stood at 45,535 units, including those from a joint venture between JLR and Chery Automobiles.
