Singer Taylor Swift says her past regrets have helped her produce good songs.

The 23-year-old has given hit numbers like "You belong with me", "Teardrops on my guitar" and "Love story". She is proud of her music.

"Every one of my regrets has produced a song I'm proud of," radaronline.com quoted Swift as saying.

The singer, who has dated celebrities like Harry Styles, Conor Kennedy, Jake Gyllenhaal and John Mayer in the past, has her own theory about love.

She said: "Love is a ruthless game unless you play it good and right."
