The government of Telangana will accord a civic reception to Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu here on August 21.
The decision was taken by Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao on Thursday.
According to a statement from the Chief Minister's Office, the programme will be organised on behalf of the Telangana people and the government at Raj Bhavan.
A lunch will also be hosted in honour of Venkaiah Naidu at the Dilkusha Guest House.
This will be first visit of Naidu to Telangana after taking oath as Vice President.
