Three people were booked for abetment to suicide of an engineer, police here said Tuesday.
Awnish Tomar, 30, who worked as an engineer in a company having its office in Grand Mall here on Mehrauli-Gurgaon road, committed suicide by hanging himself in his room in Laxmi Garden area Monday night.
Tomar, who hailed from Haryana's Jind district, wrote in his suicide note: "JLL NCR chief Sudeep Das, Grand Mall security officer J.P. Chakravarty and Mall's manager are responsible for my death. They must be punished for their inhuman behaviour against me. The three made my life like hell."
"Tomar was appointed as an engineer in the company, but was treated as a fourth-class employee for the last few months," a police officer said.
A case under sections 306 (abetment to suicide) and 34 (common intent) of Indian Penal Code has been registered.
No one has been arrested yet.
