Three people were hacked to death and at least 10 others injured Thursday in a clash between two groups over a property dispute in West Bengal, police said.
The incident took place in Kalna in Burdwan district, some 90 km from Kolkata.
"Kashem Sheikh and his brother Gopal were hacked to death by some miscreants over disputes relating to property and harvesting of crops. Following the twin murders, supporters of the victims killed a 50-year-old man in retaliation," Superintendent of Police S.M.H. Meerza said.
