Three suspected poachers have been arrested and a deer hide and pieces of horn seized from them in West Bengal's Siliguri, police said on Saturday.
Binod Das, Bapi Mondal and Mithu Biswas were arrested by the police from Bagrakote area late Friday night.
"We have recovered a deer skin and five pieces of horn. There is also a hole in the skin suggesting it might have been poached. The accused are being interrogated to ascertain if they are a part of a poaching gang," Siliguri Assistant Police Commissioner Tapan Alo Mitra said.
