Tunis, July 2 (IANS/AKI) Tunisian security forces on Thursday broke up an alleged Islamic State (IS)-linked terrorist cell in the port city of Sfax and arrested three of its members, a radio station reported.
The three suspects were transferred to the capital, Tunis, for questioning and police were searching for three other cell members, Radio Shems FM said.
Sfax lies about 100 km south of the popular beach resort town of Sousse, where an IS-inspired gunman shot dead 38 tourists last Friday, 30 of whom were British. The IS claimed credit for the attack.
