Istanbul, July 22 (IANS/EFE) Twitter went back online in Turkey after a court in the southern province of Sanliurfa decided to lift the temporary blockade put to prevent dissemination of any image from Monday's suicide attack in Suruc.

The court in Suruc ordered to ban Twitter, effective from Wednesday morning, which was overturned by the Sanliurfa Second Criminal Court of Peace, according to the Anadolu news agency.

The Turkish union of internet access providers notified Twitter, Facebook and YouTube of the court's decision, while the latter two deleted the content in question but Twitter was blocked for allowing posts related to the attack.

The court prohibited publishing any images of the fatal Suruc attack, which claimed the lives of 32 people, at the request of the public prosecutor, and issued a decision to delete content related to the attack as well as posts calling for mass events and protests.

Moreover, the governor of Istanbul warned in a statement against any "provocation" or demonstration during either of the two victims' funerals being held on Wednesday in Istanbul.
