Two Border Security Force (BSF) troopers were critically injured on Thursday in Pakistani firing on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district.
Police sources said the incident took place in Sunderbani sector.
"Pakistan forces targeted two forward locations of the LoC manned by the BSF and Army. Two BSF troopers were injured. They have been shifted to a hospital," an official said.
Earlier, a soldier was killed in Pakistan firing in Machil sector in Kupwara district.
The Pakistan Army also violated ceasefire in the Uri sector of LoC on Thursday, triggering an Indian retaliation.
