Two Delhi varsity students charred to death

Two students of Delhi University were burnt to death Tuesday when their car caught fire after colliding with a stationary truck on National Highway 1 in Haryana, police said.

Witnesses told police that the victims died inside the burning car while another person was pulled out and rushed to a hospital in Sonipat. The accident took place near Kundli, 45 km from New Delhi.

The victims, Vikas and Monu, both residents of Sonipat district, were studying law in Delhi University.

Police said a case had been registered against the truck driver.
