Bodies of two Iranian nationals were found Friday after an avalanche hit southeastern Turkey, while two other Iranians remained missing, Turkey's private Dogan news agency reported.

The avalanche, which struck the Semdinli town of Turkey's Hakkari province eight days ago, buried the four Iranian nationals, who illegally entered the Turkish territory to visit their relatives, Xinhua reported.

Search and rescue teams found the two bodies in the Tekeli village in Semdinli after tracing their properties, said the report, adding that search effort for the other two Iranian nationals was still underway.
