Two B.Tech students of the GLA University were killed and another seriously injured in a road accident in this Uttar Pradesh town Saturday, police said.
The accident occurred when a car driver lost control of his vehicle as a passenger vehicle ahead of him suddenly braked and hit a group of students. One student died on the spot, another on way to the hospital while the third is in a serious condition.
The students went violent and blocked traffic on the highway, but the university administration and police acted promptly to pacify and disperse the protestors.
One of the deceased student was from Azamgarh and the other from Agra, police said.
