Abu Dhabi, Dec 30 (IANS/WAM) The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has strongly condemned the terrorist attack in Russia's Volgograd city, in which more than a dozen people were killed and scores were wounded.

A foreign ministry statement said: "The United Arab Emirates condemns in the strongest terms this terrorist attack and calls for the need for concerted efforts of the international community to combat and address this menace, since it is deemed as a global phenomenon that threatens international security and stability."

Two deadly terror attacks in two days in Volgograd city killed over 30 people and left scores injured.
