A high-level meeting was held on Friday in Uttarakhand to take stock of the progress in infrastructure projects in the state, an official said.
Chief Secretary N Ravishankar chaired the meeting of the project monitoring group of the Cabinet Committee on Infrastructure.
The meeting discussed issues being facing by Vishnugad Pipalkoti hydro-electric project of 444 MW. The project is being constructed in Chamoli.
It was decided that the Kisau multi-purpose hydro-electric project of 600 MW would be taken forward as a joint venture between Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh. It was also decided that a MoU would be signed between both the states.
