Italian football club ACF Fiorentina midfielder Borja Valero underwent a medical test on Monday to join Inter Milan within the next few hours.
It is estimated that the Spaniard will sign a three-year contract with Inter for 5 million euros ($5.7 million), reports Efe.
The 32-year-old Spanish midfielder is set to travel to Riscone, in northeast Italy, to join his new teammates and start preparing for the season under Italian coach Luciano Spalletti.
Valero spent the past five seasons at Fiorentina, but he recently claimed that he had been mistreated at the Italian club to the extent that he had to leave.
