Venezuela forward Salomon Rondon once again scored the goal that led to Colombia's 0-1 defeat in a Copa America clash, just as two years ago he did in a match played in Cachamay stadium.
Venezuela had a very good debut in Copa America against Colombia on Sunday. Against all odds, Venezuela defeated one of the favourite teams in their debut in Group C, reports Xinhua.
This is the second consecutive victory of Venezuela against Colombia. The last time they played was in the 12th matchday of 2014 World Cup qualifying tournament in Cachamay stadium, located in Guayana City, Venezuela, where Rondon scored the only goal of the game.
Rondon's goal was a header from a pass to score from Alejandro Guerra.
With this victory, Venezuela won their first three points in Copa America.
