Vishal Malhotra, who plays Pulkit in "Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein", will reprise his "Mauka Mauka" publicity campaign in the form of a spoof in an upcoming sequence on the TV show.

Vishal will be seen singing bhajans in the same tone that "Mauka Mauka" had, in a 'jagrata' sequence of the show.

"I'm very excited to be a part of the spoof of this cult jingle. I'm grateful that the original version was liked by the masses and I hope this spoof will also be appreciated. I had a lot of fun while shooting the jagrata sequence with my on-screen family," Vishal said in a statement.

"Humko Tumse Ho Gaya Hai Pyaar Kya Karein", aired on Star Plus, also stars Ishani Sharma, Varun Toorkey and Sudhir Pandey.

Shahwar Ali dons look inspired by Big B, Kishore Kumar

Actor Shahwar Ali, who made his fiction debut on TV with "Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma", says his look in the show is inspired from megastar Amitabh Bachchan and cinematic legend Kishore Kumar.

Set in the post-Partition era, the show features Shahwar as an upright lawyer of the 1960s. "Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma" is being shot at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad.

"Off screen, Kishore Kumar used to wear square rimmed glasses which I incorporated in my look as Parvez in the show. However, it is rare to find those kind of glasses and I got them especially from Hyderabad," Shahwar said in a statement.

"I have also tried to copy his (Kishore Kumar's) hairstyle, but the side hairstyle has been inspired from Amitabh Bachchan. Along with that, I had a discussion with the creative team about the costumes to bring out the authenticity of that era without going over the top as getting the look right is like half the battle won.

"I am thoroughly enjoying sporting the classic bell bottoms, chequered shirts and formal suits. I am sure that it will definitely transport the viewers to that era," he added.

Zee TV's "Ek Maa Jo Laakhon Ke Liye Bani Amma" marks the small screen debut of actress Urvashi Sharma.

Aparna Dixit's Iftar party on set

Actress Aparna Dixit, who essays Deevika in "Kalash - Ek Vishwaas", hosted an Iftar party on the set of the popular TV show along with her co-workers.

"I was delighted by how people fast for 30 days without eating the whole day and come together in the evening to break their fast. The behind-the-camera people of our show work day in and out without a break even while fasting. So I try to be a part of their celebration if possible," Aparna said in a statement.

"What amazes me (about the holy month of Ramadan) is the idea behind fasting that is for us to realise what poor people go through and suffer, the entire concept of self-control which makes a person stronger.

"It just makes me happy that I have seen Ramadan festival so closely and I get to be a part of it on the set everyday where people share their food, celebrate the breaking of the fast and create new memories," Aparna added.

"Kalash - Ek Vishwaas" is aired on Life OK.
