Actor Vivek Mushran says he shoots barefoot on the sets of his upcoming TV show "Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee".
"Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee" revolves around young and selfless girl Aastha who believes in serving humanity over rituals of God.
Vivek will be seen as Govind Agrawal, a progressive husband and a rooted man.
"The main set has a temple within the house of Agarwal family which is huge and a 'diya' is lit every morning whether we are shooting or not," Vivek said in a statement.
"Given that most scenes are in the surrounding, as a sign of respect I shoot barefoot on the sets of the show. You will never see me wear my footwear during any of my scenes," he added.
Actress Tina Philip will be seen as Aastha in the show.
"Ek Aastha Aisi Bhee" will also feature Mansi Salvi and Kanwar Dhillon.
The show will be aired on Star Plus from April 3 onwards.

Actress Niti Taylor, who is currently shooting for TV show "Ghulaam" in Mumbai, got a surprise from her parents when they came to meet her from Delhi.
Niti, who plays the role of Shivani in the Life OK show, is now planning to spend most of the time with her family.
"I seriously can't express my feelings, I hardly get to meet my parents as I don't stay with them. The little time I spent with them means the world to me," Niti said in a statement.
"My parents gave me a surprise visit. I was totally speechless and amazed on seeing my parents. Being alone in Mumbai makes me home-sick and I often feel low. Seeing their happy faces, I felt happy and rejuvenated," she added.

Suchitra Pillai gets emotional after watching Taj Mahal
Actress Suchitra Pillai, who is seen as Sandhya Chauhan in the family drama show "Ek Shringaar?Swabhimaan", got emotional when she visited the Taj Mahal along with her co-stars Sangeita Chauhan and Sahil Uppal.
The cast of the show visited Agra on March 19 for promotions of the show. Later they decided to visit Taj Mahal.
"The historical wonder, Taj Mahal was always on my bucket list. And I knew that my trip to Agra would be incomplete without visiting this monument of love. I feel that while running behind bigger things in life, we forget to admire smaller things that contribute to our happiness and something similar happened to me when I visited the Taj Mahal," Suchitra said in a statement.
"I was absolutely spellbound and overwhelmed to see the visually spectacular Taj Mahal and I couldn't help but cry as soon as I saw its beauty and serenity. I would definitely love to go back there, study the marvellous structure and have a good time," she added.
"Ek Shringaar?Swabhimaan", aired on Colors, traces the story of two daughters Meghna (Sangeita) and Naina (Ankita Sharma), who are willing to go to any extent to uphold their mother Sharda's (Prachee Shah Pandya) honour and self-respect.
