TV actor Param Singh had to slap his co-star Niti Taylor for a scene in TV show "Ghulaam". He says he was taken aback when he got to know about this.
"Personally, I respect women and I am against them being treated badly. Women are supposed to be loved and shouldn't be treated in an ill manner. When I was told that I have to slap Niti for a sequence, I was taken aback," Param said in a statement.
The actor added that when he created a fuss about shooting for the scene, the director of the show explained a way to cheat shoot the sequence without having to actually slap Niti.
"This news gave me relief," Param added.
"Ghulaam" airs on Life OK.
