English football club West Ham United FC has signed Brazilian striker Nene until the end of the season.
The 33-year-old joins the London outfit on a free transfer from Qatari side Al-Gharafa, reports Xinhua.
"I am very excited and happy to be here," Nene told West Ham's official website Wednesday.
"I'm proud to come to a really big club like West Ham and I'm going to do my best to help the team. I've been thinking about coming back to Europe for a few months because here the football, the ambience, everything is better."
Nene has scored over 100 career goals, having had spells at Monaco, Paris Saint-Germain, Celta Vigo, Espanyol, Real Mallorca and Alaves.
His signing reinforces West Ham's attack following a season-ending knee injury to Andy Carroll earlier this month.
