After taking over as Chief Minister again, Nitish Kumar on Thursday thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for his greetings and said he has faith that with the central government's assistance development would gain pace in Bihar.
"Thankful to Prime Minister for his greetings. No compromise will be done on corruption. I have faith that with Centre's assistance development would get pace," the JD-U chief said in a tweet.
The Janata Dal-United President's remarks came after Prime Minister Modi greeted him shortly after he took oath with the BJP as an alliance partner in the state.
In a tweet, Modi said he was looking forward to working together with Nitish Kumar for Bihar's progress.
