A 26-year-old woman committed suicide on Friday after a heated argument with her husband on a "trivial issue", police said.
Police said they came to know about the incident in north Delhi when the woman's husband, Santosh informed the local police.
Santosh, who works with an American company in Pune from where the couple had returned last week, told police that he had a heated argument with Kanchan over a trivial issue and she went inside her room in their house in Swatantra Nagar Extension in Narela area of Rohini.
"When she did not come out after half an hour, he said he peered inside the room from a window and saw her hanging," the officer said.
The two were married 11 months ago, he said, adding that a magisterial inquiry has been initiated in the case.
