'World War Z' released a day ahead of scheduled date

"World War Z", the movie starring actor Brad Pitt, has reportedly been released here Thursday, a day prior to its worldwide release.

The movie, which will release globally June 21, has been released in some selected theatres because of the buzz around the film, said a statement.

The release has taken in place in some theatres of Mumbai, Pune and Delhi.

Directed by Marc Forster, the movie is set in the backdrop of New York where humans start turning into zombies because of a certain virus.
