Left Front Chairman Biman Bose is known to be a strict disciplinarian with his comrades, as Janmejoy Ojha of Socialist Party discovered during a recent rally in central Kolkata on Sunday. The Socialist Party is one of the constituents of the Left Front, and Ojha was due to speak at the rally but arrived late. Although Bose invited Ojha to speak, he told the crowd, "Since he is late, he will have to make his speech brief." Ojha was initially taken aback but quickly recovered, nodded acknowledgement and duly kept his speech brief.
