This refers to the report “Delay in catering contract almost killed CWG” (December 21). This is another example of callous inaction in the case of Commonwealth Games. Much like peeling the onion, layer by layer, one senses an orchestrated symphony of mysteries. The Central Vigilance Commission report points out sustained irregularities and discrepancies in the Organising Committee’s functioning. It is appalling that concepts like “innocent until proven guilty” and upholding the law of land hold true for officials who continue to malign the dignity of the chair.
