When journalists in India received an email invitation to a religious ceremony from the personal assistant of a senior minister handling a social welfare department, they were both intrigued and amused.
The ceremony had nothing to do with either the minister or his staff members. A little digging revealed that the personal assistant had used the official platform to publicise many of his personal events on earlier occasions as well.
