Being kingmaker is not easy. Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee and A K Antony must have realised this yet again after they flew to Mumbai to oversee a regime change in Maharashtra. As the two had to quickly reach Mumbai and then directly go to the Assembly for a meeting, they could not have their dinner. After the meeting, they had to rush back to Delhi in the middle of the night where Sonia Gandhi was waiting for them. So, the two veteran leaders also couldn’t sleep properly. The next day, after the new chief minister was announced, the two cancelled many of their appointments to make up for the lost sleep.
