“I have a serious complaint against you”, Congress MP from West Bengal Adhir Ranjan Chowdury told Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha lobby on the first day of the 15th Lok Sabha, “You didn’t take the sweets I gifted you when you came to my district.” Gandhi laughed and replied, “I wanted to bring it to Delhi but as the sugar syrup was dripping I couldn’t take it on the flight. But please do bring another packet of sweets for me to Delhi.” Chowdhury was thanking the young Gandhi for attending a public rally in his district Murshidabad from where he won his seat, while Gandhi complimented him for the Congress’ victory in all the three seats of the district.
