CPI(M) Politburo member, Sitaram Yechury, is never short of cheesy one-liners or sharp witty comments. Even when the situation is politically adverse, he knows how to twist it in his favour. Recently, when the 2009-10 GDP figures came out to be 7.4 per cent, showing signs of recovery, the critical Communist's comments were sought by the media. Yechury quickly remarked: "It's a good sign that the GDP is growing. But, it is also a reality that there are two different Indias that survive in this country. The rich India is represented by the Indian Premier League. And, there is the Bharat Premier League, which still showcases India of the poor and the downtrodden."
