Addressing a mammoth rally in Kolkata on Thursday, Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee said her party would go it alone in the Lok Sabha polls and renewed her call for a federal front. The West Bengal Chief Minister said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) isn’t an alternative to the Congress-led United Progessive Alliance (UPA). The Congress isn’t an alternative to the BJP either, she added.
